Accessories Workshop

By using random objects, it brought something new to my project as it made me create completely new samples that didn't actually relate very much to my work. In a way I found this a good thing because I managed to relate them back to my themes in an original and inventive way. If I was to create the samples again I would probably try and include more colour that complimented my project slightly more, which might have made it easier later on when trying to think of ways to turn these samples into accessories. Saying that, I also thought that the black and white left me freer to decide where I wanted the colour to go. The thing that surprised me was how easy it was to make such random materials work so well together. To prepare for my workshop on Wednesday need to photocopy all of the samples I made today, and the more the better, as I want as much material to work from as possible.
Made from polystyrene balls, copper wire, paper doilies
playing cards and an ear bud container.
Made of cotton wool, make up sponges, a playing card,
 string and acetate
