Stuctural Mood Board

Rather than just collaging my images onto a page, the foundation level taught me how to be selective with images and how to use them constructively. I focused this board around the theme of structure and the images I chose reflect the initial ideas that I have. These photos were then photocopied so that I could enlarge them, make them smaller, change the colour or even change it from negative to positive. By doing this I am trying to make the board look visually more interesting. Another way of doing this is by cutting the images out to give them unique shapes; otherwise you end up with a board filled with 10 A4 size images. I've also played around with using 3D pieces on the board to give it some texture and height. The main problem with doing this is that it makes the piece less transportable to interviews and other places where I may need to present my work. If I was to change anything about my board it would be maybe take of or even just flatten the 3D part and maybe add some more colour into it.
